2005 Alesia Chileno Valley Pinot Noir

Varietal: Pinot Noir
Vintage: 2005
Appellation: Chileno Valley, Sonoma Coast
Recommendation: Drink / Hold

January, 2010: This is beginning to enter its drinking window. Drink/Hold.

January, 2009: This is still youthful and shows whole cluster character. It continues to integrate and can be approached now with decanting or can be held.

January, 2008: The 2005 Chileno Valley Pinot Noir has an intriguing Dujac-like nose of spicy forest floor and ripe fruit aromas. It offers terrific layering with a refreshing saline character highlighting the ripe red and black fruit. Always our most cellar worthy Alesia Pinot, this wine requires at least 2 to 3 years of cellaring.
