January, 2008: The 2005 Alesia Fairview Vineyard Syrah is just plain delicious and our best Syrah to date. The 2005 vintage allowed the mineral complexity of Fairview’s decomposed granitic soils to take center stage in an uncommon Syrah of balance, perfectly ripe fresh fruit, and layered soil-driven complexity. This Syrah offers everything that we love about this varietal and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
