January, 2009: This is quite approachable now but will continue to improve. Drink/Hold.

January, 2008: The 2005 Falstaff is our first bottling from this chilly vineyard on the "edge". It offers a complex mélange of baking spices and ripe black fruit on the nose. The palate is big, broad, and ripe, yet fresh with loads of spicy blackberries on the long finish. This wine will improve for several years, but it is approachable now.
