January, 2010: This is still very tight. If opened now, be sure to give it at least 2 hours of air. Hold.

January, 2009: This really needs more time. It is very structured and holds great promise but will be much better in a few years. Hold.

January, 2008: The difficult 2005 weather produced just a single barrel of concentrated Chardonnay from our Alpine Vineyard. As in the past, this bottling shows the complex rainwater, minerals, and lemon rind character that we have come to expect from this vineyard. This is a very powerful wine, and the almost searing youthful intensity begs for a few years of cellaring. We wish we had more!
