January, 2009: This starts closed and shows its youth but opens and becomes accessible with air. It is accessible now after decanting and can be enjoyed, but will continue to improve for many years. Drink or Hold.

January, 2008: The balanced and spicy fresh fruit of the 2006 Falstaff will appeal to our Burgundy-drinking customers. From the subtle cinnamon and graphite on the nose, to the taut and spicy black cherries on the palate, this is what cool climate Sonoma Pinot is all about. There is nothing big or exceedingly ripe here, just a beautiful, middleweight basket of fresh red and black fruit that offers pure Pinot pleasure.
