January, 2010: We feel that the 2007 Falstaff is among the best Alesia Pinot Noirs that we have made. The Falstaff offers its typical complex floral characteristics backed by deep, delicious black cherry fruit and Sonoma Coast spice. Despite the intensity, this bottling is quite balanced and fresh with a focused, sinewy strength that will reward many years of cellaring. Hold.
