January, 2010: Site expression is often subtle but there is nothing subtle about Skyline Vineyard's extroverted personality. The nose is extremely complex with distinctive notes of flint, mincemeat, Christmas cake and dusty rocks. The spicy, middleweight, ripe fruit is held in check by intense flinty/metal minerality and the weightless mouthfeel of 12.8% alcohol. Hold.
